The City of Sandwich has a Street Department that performs many of the tasks that are essential to keeping the City operating.
- Snow Plowing
- Pothole patching
- Road Maintenance
- Mowing of City owned common areas - (e.g. retention/detention areas, easements, etc.)
- Sidewalk repair
- Forestry
- Sign making
- Assist Water and Sewer departments as needed
The department performs these additional services on behalf of the community:
- Brush Pickup during the months of April, June, August and October.
- Leaf Pickup in November.
